Okay, so once a month updates are not so bad when you've been thrown into the life of multiples! And from what I hear everyone enjoys seeing the new posts even though they are so few and far between. So thanks for being so interested and patient with our family!
It's hard to believe the triplets are three months old already! Time has really flown by and they are getting so big. In fact we went to the doctor last week for a checkup and here are they're official measurements:
Kyle is 24 1/4 inches long and weighs 11lbs 13oz
Landon is also 24 1/4 inches long and weighs 12lbs 14oz
Piper is 23 1/2 inches long and weighs 10lbs 12oz
They have all at least doubled their birth weight which is awesome. Right now we are still on the same schedule of feeding every 4 hours. They take a bottle around 10 or 11pm and then again at 2 or 3am and again at 6 or 7am. Some nights we get a stretch of five hours at a time, but not very often.
Every evening we still have a few hours where all three are cranky - it's not as bad as what colic would be, but it's still a difficult time because it's hard to get them settled down and comfortable. But once they are in bed after the late night feeding they sleep very well, actually going immediately back to sleep after the middle of the night feed.
Nobody has rice in their bottle anymore - they seem to have outgrown the little bit of reflux that they had. Everyone is taking between 5-6 ounces at every feeding, some feedings are better than others.
On another great note - Piper is finally off of her monitor! She had gone a month without any alarms so at the last doctors appointment last week he said she could come off of it. It was great news and we were so glad!
They are smiling alot now and love it when people talk to them. Each of them like to study your face and try to talk a little making cooing noises. It's very cute!

We are still surviving and doing very well. Each day gets a little bit easier and every day is more fun and exciting than the day before. It has been nice lately to have some visitors in to help out, a few extra hands is never a bad thing! Nate's cousin, Autumn, came to visit and help with the babies last week. I think she actually ended up being more of a playmate for Owen, though! It was wonderful to have her here, especially since we had the doctors appointment to go to and she was able to help with getting them there. Thanks, Autumn! We miss you!
Nate's mom and brother are here visiting for a few days now. They will go home tomorrow. Then on Wednesday, my mom will be here for a few weeks to help out. Like I said before, I can handle the days on my own but it's good to have someone here so that I can try to get some other chores done that might otherwise go undone!
We went to church for the first time a few weeks ago. It was great to finally be back - I hadn't been in six months! We took the babies in their stroller and wheeled them into the back of the sanctuary (the doctor still says no to the nursery). We were definitely a sight to see. Everyone was so excited to see the babies that they had kept in prayer for the past 10 months! It was wonderful to see everyone and to finally bring the babies to our church home.

Owen started playing T-Ball this summer. He's on the Indians team and plays every Saturday morning. He likes hitting the ball - he claims to hit a homerun every time he's up to bat! When the team is in the field, every player on the team moves in one motion toward the ball. They all want to get to it first! It's very cute! Hopefully he'll continue to enjoy baseball as he gets older, but if not at least he tried his hand at it!

This is Alex Beggs and Landon. Alex is almost 10 months old and will be one of the triplets best playmates since our families are so close. We just had to take a picture for size comparison - it will be great to look back at when they are seniors in high school!
